The MBBR Solution for Permit Limits
THE CITY OF CROSWELL located in Michigan’s “Thumb” has a population of just under 2,500 people and has the largest Sugar Beet Processing facility (MI Sugar – Pioneer) in Sanilac County. The City owns and maintains a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) on the south end of town. Due to mechanical failures within its existing secondary treatment process and requirements from EGLE, Michigan’s environmental authority, the City pursued a project to improve treatment performance, reliability, and redundancy.
